These SBD protein bars are very tasty for a protein bar. They're like a dense rice-crispy treat with chocolate holding things together. I think they're perfect for a healthy snack, energy during a longer workout, or if you eat two of them with a piece of fruit, a very good light meal. They have about 10 grams of protein each, which is really good considering they're only 35g bars. They also have a good deal of fiber, are low in sugar, and have very little fat. They are smaller than many other protein bars, so bear in mind that they are NOT meal replacement bars unless you eat more than one of them. I actually prefer the Peanut Butter flavor to the chocolate, but it's nice to have some variety.

I have an eight year old son with autism who does not eat alot. His doctor suggested protein shakes and bars in order to help keep his weight up since he doesn't like most foods, except for bread. He loves chocolate and he loves these bars more than any other ones I've given him. Plus, with 10 grams of protein and no mysterious ingredients like most protein bars, he can eat them instead of a meal and I know he's safe.

Excellent good tasting bars. Fortunately, you can eat just one and feel satisfied. However, I must caution you about melting chocolate. I either have to eat these very fast, or take my time and enjoy each bite by peeling down part of the wrapper and holding the bar with the wrapper still around it.
Final comments: Enjoyable bars, filling, chocolaty, and not too sweet.

I purchased these bars because they have 10 grams of protein. Most of the snacks bars and meal replacement bars have very little protein and a lot of carbs. The taste is very good, but if you are use to eating those sugar filled bars you will have to get adjusted to a more wholesome taste. You cant beat these bars when it comes to nutritional content, calories, and the price. Best bars in this price range. If you are trying to get more protein into your diet and less JUNK,these are the bars for you!

I have been buying these bars for 2 years and love them. They are the only bars I can find that are high in protien, reasonable calories and low in sugar. They are an awsome snack when you're on the go and really fill you up. I would highly recommend these bars to anyone to try. I've recently found them on Amazon for direct shipping and could choose how often I want to recieve them. The price is incredible since I typically pay $4.00+ per box in my local grocery store.
